Division of Immunodeficiencies and Post-Infectious Diseases at the Institute of Medical Immunology, CC12
Head: Prof. Dr. med. Carmen Scheibenbogen
In our interdisciplinary team of physicians, scientists, and study nurses, we combine specialized medical care with clinical-translational research, education, and therapy studies.
At the Immunodeficiency Clinic, over 2,000 adult patients are seen annually for suspected immune dysfunctions (immunodeficiencies) and susceptibility to infections, as well as ME/CFS, with more than 600 individuals with primary immunodeficiencies receiving care.
The tasks of the ME/CFS Consultation, which is part of the Charité Fatigue Center, include not only patient care but also the development of therapeutic concepts within clinical studies and the investigation of disease causes.
